ABOUT OUR SETS

All of our music has been specially arranged for the band. Our mix of unusual covers and original compositions makes our playlist unlike that of any other band. Plus, thanks to our 11-piece set up, we can give you full and authentic versions of every song we play - no backing tracks or pre-recorded parts - we're the real deal!

We have two types of set:

The 'Cool Set' - This is the set we play when we're gigging at cool venues and jazz clubs. Equally perfect for a chilled backdrop to a sunny afternoon at a festival, or drinks before a big event, this set's playlist is built around funky, laid-back, jazzy grooves (including some of our own compositions), and featuring improvisation from across the band.

The 'Party Set' - This set is guaranteed to get everyone moving and grooving! Perfect for your party, this set has dance at its heart, mixing funk, disco, soul, and jazz.

Both sets blend together a host of styles, mixing jazz, funk, and soul; our party set has a good sprinkling of disco too. Both sets mix tunes you'll know well with songs you might not have heard so often... However, we're sure you'll love them all!

We like to fine tune our sets so that they are tailored to each event, and this means we always have a few surprises planned, but here are some examples of the types of tunes you might hear.
